About Us:  New Life Fellowship Baptist Church Ministries History

New Life Fellowship Baptist Church Ministries was organized and founded on November 24, 2010 from a meeting which was called and held at the home of Sis. Sharon Green in Tinton Falls, New Jersey with the Founding members by Pastor Reginald L. Bellamy, M.Div., and with a unanimous vote of the congregation Pastor Bellamy became the Founding Pastor. The place of worship was thought of when the Pastor had the idea to meet with the Seventh Day Adventist and as a result of Favor from the Lord from 2010 until now we hold our Sunday Services in the Main Sanctuary of The Collingswood Park Seventh Day Adventist Church every Sunday Morning. Afternoon Services are by announcement. Pastor R L Bellamy, First Lady Jewel Bellamy & the congregation of NLFBC boldly marched into the Main Sanctuary on December the Third Sunday of 2010 singing " Victory today is mine." The Congregation of the NLFBC is spiritually grounded in the word of God and not the tenants of religious practice. Come experience the difference. " Try the Spirit by the Spirit."

New Life Fellowship Baptist Church Ministries

Church Theme:  “ A Church where New Life Begins and the devil ends”

Mission:

To create an atmosphere that is friendly oriented and has a vision to go forward to bring unity with any race or denomination and win souls for the cause of Jesus Christ.

To Preach, To Teach and To Reach and to bring New Life in Jesus Christ. With this as our mission together we embrace the vision of our Pastor.

Vision:

To work according to the Holy Spirit what God has already ordained in time past. It is not how it came about but what do we do since it came about. It is not our purpose to dwell on the past of what God has done for us but what have we done lately for God.

Our goal as a Church is to inspire, motivate, doctrinate, educate and fully communicate Jesus Christ by our actions and conversations and the life we live. We will embrace the vision of the Pastor and we will embrace each other with love, honor and respect which brings New Life into existence.

LUKE 4:18-19
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Statement of Faith

The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Bible, as it is in truth, the Word of God... (I Thessalonians 2:13). We believe in verbal, plenary inspiration in the original writings, and God's preservation of His pure words to every generation (II Timothy 3:16, Psalms 12:6-8). The Masoretic Text of the Old Testament and the Received Text of the New Testament (Textus Receptus) are those texts of the original languages we accept and use; the King James Version of the Bible is the only English version we accept and use. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice.

The Godhead
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections (Deuteronomy 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14).

The Person and Work of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men (John 1:1-2, 14; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; 7:14; Philippians 2:5-8; Galatians 4:4-5).

New Life Fellowship Baptist Church is a family of believers in Jesus Christ. You can become a member of New Life Fellowship Baptist Church in one of three ways: Baptism. Letter or Christian Experience.

  1. Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and being baptized by immersion (in a pool of water) in our church as a sign of your faith in Christ.
  2. If you have already accepted Jesus, but have not been baptized by immersion, you may come forward at the invitation time in our service and say you would like to be baptized. This is as a Candidate for Baptism.
  3. Transfer of membership from another church by Letter from one that practices believer's baptism by immersion demonstrating your Christian Experience in good standing. A church that practices "believer's baptism" is one that... a. believes that baptism follows someone's decision to trust in Christ, b. believes baptism is a sign of our salvation, not a requirement for salvation, and c. baptizes by immersion rather than by sprinkling.
  4. If you have trusted in Christ for salvation and have been baptized by immersion but never joined a church or are unsure where your membership is, you may be added to our church by simply saying that you are a Christian who has been baptized. This is under Christian Experience.

When you are ready to be added to our church, you may come forward at the invitation time of our service. Our Pastor & Staff will meet you and answer any questions you may have about joining our congregation and being added to God’s Church. If not at New Life please connect yourself to a Bible Believing Church that Believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Personal Saviour. Thank You, Pastor R L Bellamy, M. Div.
